Portraits of the Local Board of Trustees: Ed J.L. Green, S.V. Daniel, and Dr. J.M. Hons

Prior to 1911, Southwest Texas State Normal School was governed by a local board of trustees who were appointed by the State Board of Education. 

Issues of the Pedagog contain the only known information about the local board; the 1907 issue identifies W.D. Wood, Ed J.L. Greene, and S.V. Daniel, and J.M. Hons as trustees. Photographs of Wood, Daniel, and Hons appear in the 1908 issue.
